It’s Tuesday evening and WOW. What….A Day!

First off, I gave my very first webinar today for
my paid eMail Marketing Phoenix class and it
went beautifully! So well…guess what happened!
At the end of the class, I realized that I had gotten
past my own comfort boundaries….and I started
to cry. Luckily, that was received *really* well….
yay!

So humbling.

After class had ended, I decided to celebrate with the
kids and got bacon and ice cream for all! 🙂 And this
afternoon…well…I gave myself permission to simply
take *off*. After all, for all intensive purposes…I’ve
been up since 2am…and rest.
It’s a Good Thing! 🙂

I wrote this earlier today…..

I’m sooo utterly drained the only thing for which
I have energy now is ice cream! 🙂

See, I just finished giving my first
paid webinar for my first paid $97 class.
And it went grand! I ended up crying at the
end….because I realized that….

I DID IT! I went PAST my comfort boundaries…
and I DID IT!

I owe a *lot* of that to Dr. Ben Adkins.

When you consider I started at 97 cent

to where I am now…..

WOW.

Honestly, I have to credit Dr. Ben Adkins, my
mentor, with a huge amount of, well, credit. 🙂

my story:

It’s now Monday afternoon and can you believe,
in less than 24 hours I’ll be giving my first
web class about Power eMail marketing!

But you want to know the interesting email *I*
just received?

Check this out:

…Because of you I’m now starting to question my direction to release IM
product to the warrior forum.

I’m tempted to sign up for eMail Marketing Phoenix but I don’t want to
change my direction and momentum yet again.

So what do you think is eMail Marketing Phoenix for me? Do I need to take
some time and release some products on the WF and get that under my belt?
Or should I sign up for eMail Marketing Phoenix and down the road I’ll
look back and see that as being the pivot of my IM career? 🙂

I love emails like this, because I always see such
questions as the pivotal point in one’s career.

And here’s how I answered:

What works for one person does NOT
necessarily work for another….so alas,
I cannot tell you what to do. 🙂

That being said, you need to find the
direction within yourself and give yourself
permission to say, YES. I will choose
path XYZ and see it thru until either
I see success or I realize it just doesn’t
work.

EMP would be for you if you’re willing to
commit building your list/following the path.

It is NOT for you if you think you’ll simply
abandon it after a few days.

Every person reaches that point where they
say, Enough is ENOUGH.

That’s when the magic happens….

Ah….that’s when the magic happens.

Because YOU know yourself BEST.

You see, one of the things I always shy away
from is trying to convince someone who is
on the fence…because that needs to come
from *within*.

Of *course* releasing products on the Warrior
Forum is a *Tremendous* way to build one’s
list… and if the person does decide to join,
s/he will be given all the tips I wish I had
known prior to creating 2 launches every week!
🙂

See, unless you have a product like this eMail
Marketing Phoenix 3 week immersion goodie,
some things you’ll ONLY learn through trial and
error.

For example, back then…I had NO clue about
creating Thru the Keyhole lists (I’ll be mentioning
it tomorrow but truly focusing on it during during
Week 2) WHILE creating my buyer’s list. Oh,
if only I knew about that then!!

And about buyer’s lists….did you know that you
can build 2 or 3 buyers’ lists every week…without
releasing a product yourself?

Yep. That’s another thing I never realized

And it’s this. Did you know…you only
need email to do it?

But even more so….

Did you know it does NOT have to be all
graphically fancy?

Think about this for a moment…..

Have you EVER received a HTML pictures/
images/etc. email from me?

No?

There’s a reason for that. 🙂

See, even if you yourself don’t prefer
technology from the Dark Ages (ie, text),
it IS the baseline for all emails.

For example, have you noticed that sometimes
you’ll receive emails from marketers
that have no text?

That’s because the whole email…is in HTML,
and your mail client displays text FIRST
(I use Spamcop.net, so I see this quite often).

My emails never have this issue, because
I simply copy/paste the HTML text
(ie, no graphics) to the TEXT box as well.

That ensures that no matter WHAT sort
of email client is being used….

My links gain visibility. 🙂 So…if you
use BOTH HTML AND TEXT in your
emails…..you’ll ensure you have the highest
chance of people actually seeing what
you have to offer.

powerful tool for all aspects of online business –
Internet marketing, niche marketing, SEO,

last day, my ankle collapsed (leading me to
my ankle fusion in October).

Well. Dennis had engaged Shawn Hanson to
transcribize all 15 talks by all 15 marketers –
it’s really great stuff indeed!

But better yet….he made that a free giveaway

And better than *that* – he pays his affiliates
a dime if anyone signs up thru their link.

Now, most folks would say, big earlobe! 10
cents is ridiculous!

And for a solo promotion to thousands of
folks…perhaps there is that point.

But! What I do is add an image of

So! When buyers happily grab their goodies…
they see this free bonus just waiting for
them…and grab that too.

Then the next time Dennis promotes to

That being said, you need to find the
direction within yourself and give yourself
permission to say, YES. I will choose
path XYZ and see it thru until either

Chapter 4!

I figured this would make quite the dandy
pole dancing story indeed.

Well, ok, the pole was in the party van in
Las Vegas. 🙂 And I was IN Las Vegas because
I was speaking at Dennis Becker’s Earn 1Ka Day
thingee – that’s the location during which the
last day, my ankle collapsed (leading me to
my ankle fusion in October).

Well. Dennis had engaged Shawn Hanson to
transcribize all 15 talks by all 15 marketers –
it’s really great stuff indeed!

But better yet….he made that a free giveaway
on his site.

And better than *that* – he pays his affiliates
a dime if anyone signs up thru their link.

Now, most folks would say, big earlobe! 10
cents is ridiculous!

And for a solo promotion to thousands of
folks…perhaps there is that point.

But! What I do is add an image of
the book available via my affiliate
link…on all my download pages.

So! When buyers happily grab their goodies…
they see this free bonus just waiting for
them…and grab that too.

Then the next time Dennis promotes to
his list, I see a steady stream of $5-$10-
$25-$197 commission flowing in (that $197
is from his Product Drop thingee).

This all works because of the miracle of
‘cookies’. Nanacast is an affiliate network
that offers lifetime cookies (the Cookie Monster!)…

Don’t forget this mornings:

When last I wrote, I told you about
how I was creating 2 products a week
and making between 1 to 3K a month.

It sure sounds insane now! 🙂

And I closed with promising to tell you
the story about the person in the mirror.

It was one of the personal….*catalysts*….
that had me abandon traditional email
marketing and NEVER look back.

Never once!

Here’s what happened.

I was dealing with an issue regarding
Honorable Boy II (mainly because back then,
it was ALWAYS Honorable Boy II
who was having the issues).

He was having problems with people in
his class (Kindergarten) not liking him.

So I ran him through all of the wonderful
characteristics he has…his kindness, his
sweetness, the fact he doesn’t deliberately
EVER try to hurt anyone and how really
*lucky* people are when he IS their friend.

Then I told him that he

knows that every night…

When he goes to bed….

He can look at the person in the mirror
and be *proud*.

Tears dried, he scampered off…and
I returned to my daily email marketing.

I remember thinking to myself, Jeepers Self,
hardly anyone except myself sends out as
many emails as I do…..shouldn’t I worry
if someone doesn’t like me and unsubscribes?

And then I talked to myself just like I did
to my youngest!

You see, just like it’s a privilege for me to have
subscribers…

It’s ALSO a privilege for them to be on my list.

That sort of mindset….changed my email marketing
*forever*.

others who value what I have to offer.

email instead. It’s easy to do!

2.) How to build a buyer’s list even if you aren’t
selling a product yourself! It’s really easy – just
get your optin on other product download pages.
I do that 2 or 3 times a week.

3.) How to choose the best kinds of products to
add to these optin *download* pages…so you
get additional income far into the future.

See, before you can monetize a list…you need
to HAVE a list in place! That’s why the first
week is dedicated to you CREATING your lists…
because once you have them, you can *engage*
them (which is week 2)!

Ah….creating *lists*. I remember back
at the Warrior Event 2012 in April – I
had a chat with Monika Morley (lovely
lady, btw).

And I remember telling her that creating
new lists was sooo time consuming…

And she smiled and pointed out, Barbara,
it’s maybe 4 steps. 🙂

It’s that no matter WHAT level you are…
you can always learn something new and wonderful
indeed!

And here’s now MY story which I’ve
never told before.

Did you know that when I encounter problems
with my business, sure, I’ll always attack them
headon, but sometimes….

They’re SOO frustrating, I end up crying because
of them?

I think whenever you’re meant to move to
the next level, you HAVE to go through this
particular kind of ‘rebirth’. Your frustrations
and anger burn you up until only embers
are left…but out of those embers, you find
you phoenix to the next level.

Dr. Ben Adkins told me something really powerful –
it’s just like when you’re building muscle. You
tear what you have and destroy it down…the
muscle repairs itself and you end up stronger
than ever.

And that’s truly what happened to me today.

So grateful to the Universe for this kind
of learning!

Now, I normally *never* share these kinds
of weaknesses on my list, but hey.

I’m NOT ashamed of them….I choose
to learn from them instead!
