Evenin,
As you might have heard, today a lone gunman
slaughtered 26 people (18 of them elementary
school children).
I honestly cannot wrap my mind around this….
it staggers the mind. Children who lose their
parents are orphans but there’s no word for
parents who have had their children cruelly
taken away from them. 🙁
Honestly….there’s nothing I can say about
this that would even begin to describe the
sheer immensity of this. So all I will say is,
hug those you love because you never know
in these days and times if their lives will
be snatched away without a moments notice.
Before this happened, I was feeling pretty
miserable too. As is my habit, instead of
dwelling on that, I wrote a Gratitude post

In this post, I spelled out to whom I was grateful
for their help and assistance this past year. My
main purpose, mind you, was to simply force
*myself* to recognize the goodeness that surrounds
me….but the reactions!

Talk about humbling.

So I can honestly recommend – whenever *you*
are feeling miserable beyond mortal sanity….
Write gratitude post. Tag the people who
have helped you. And almost guaranteed….
