Good morning!
It’s Wednesday morning here in LingLand
and I had the delightful experience of falling
asleep at 7pm, getting up at 12am, working until
2am, collapsing in a heap until 5am and yep…
Here I am!
I think what I’m learning is that my productity
is frozen in fire. See, sometimes I’m LET ME AT
‘EM! (ie, at 1am I completed my JV page and started
on the copy) and other times….I’m less energetic than
a fossilized clam.

Still though, it is what it is so I’m taking Don Wilson’s
advice – schedule stuff A MONTH ahead of time so
it’s ALL DONE when showtime smashes upon me.
It does require a bit of mental recalibration of my
work ideas but hey. SUPER SMART it is….I perhaps
cannot change my physical state, but I can make
my work…work for *me*.

of Terror (insert ominous music tone here!)
I’ll never forget the last time I went to the
NY Hospital for Special Surgery doctor;
I had been told that my cast (finally!) would
be removed.
See, 3 months ago, I had my ankle fused…
and ever since then, I’ve been in various and
sundry casts of delightful neon shades. BUT!
Excitement upon all else – I was a’gonna get
that beastie removed!
Life was filled with rainbow colored fluffy
unicorns and frolicking mooses indeed!
And then…reality smooshed me *yet again*.
The doctor determined I required 2 more months
of encasing my ankle into an unyielding Tomb of
Sadness. WAH!
So after this was sliced off from me:

I was told to pick another color to re-encase the
Sadness of the Foot.
What color would work best?
And then I remembered – back when I was a wee bit

And at that time….my fav gi color was Camo!

gives bunches of authority to sites that incorporate
Google+.
Want to find keywords that don’t have this
quality done…YET? So *you* can monetize
the keyword….
FIRST?
To wit:
Step 1: use your normal research tool to find keywords you ‘like’
Step 2: BEFORE you do any of your normal competition research etc, use Google Crystal Ball almost like a ‘second opinion’:
if there are NO results whatsoever that even remotely resemble
the target keyword, then it’s alarm-bells ringing. You then need to
decide if that’s because it’s sooooo long in the tail that Google really
has no idea what to show, or is it because it’s a high-value target and
Google doesn’t actually WANT to show specific pages?
If you decide to continue anyway OR there are enough ‘exact’ results in
the SERPS to make you happy (that Google isn’t screwing with you), then
the next step is to check what the Google+ saturation is:
if it’s totally Google+-saturated, then you’re obviously going to have a harder time getting in there.
if there’s no Google+ competition, then Google+ should definitely be part of your overall SEO-strategy, as it’ll give you a definite boost.
